Second Integration Hockey Tournament in Essen

EHF Vice-President, Carola Meyer, visited the Second Integration Hockey Tournament in Essen, where disabled and able-bodied hockey players play together in mixed teams. The second integration hockey tournament took place in Essen the last weekend of June. The tournament was organized by ETB Schwarz-Weiss, in cooperation with the Comenius school.  Teams from Bad Durkheim, Monchengladbach, Dusseldorf and the Netherlands competed for victory. Turkey and Czech Republic promoted to Champioship II in Hradec Kralove

The last day of the EuroHockey Junior Championship II in Hradec Kralove brought us a lot of action and a lot of goals! Azerbaijan – Gibraltar 4:3 First match of the  day of the tournament was full of goals – there was a lot at stake, as the 4th spot was in contention. First U4E Webinar with FIH Belgian umpire Laurine Delforge

  The EHF Education Committee – Umpires is pleased to announce that the first webinar for U4E group 2014 will take place on Wednesday at 9pm CET. FIH Umpire Laurine Delforge will talk about her experience at the World Cup and how to deal with pressure at a top tournament. It’s all Double Dutch at the Fintro EuroHockey Junior Championships

26/07/2014: There used to be a rumor in hockey that it takes 10 seconds to score a goal and thereby change your destiny in a game but the Dutch men this week changed that to 7 seconds…. That’s how near they were to playing the Relegation pool! But a great goal from Thierry Brinkmann v Austria with 7 seconds on the clock changed that and now they are EuroHockey Champions!
