Irish Hockey League Finals, 30th April – 1st May 2011

Posted On 22nd March 2011

Finals Weekend on 30th April – 1st May has been announced as Lisnagarvey, following a tender process open to all clubs. The IHA were delighted to have received 6 excellent proposals but only one venue could be selected.

The IHL Working Group are committed to moving the IHL Finals around the country to maximise exposure, while seeking to generate sizeable spectator crowds. At the same time, it is important that the event retains a ‘club atmosphere’ where the hockey community can meet up in a convivial social setting. The choice of Lisnagarvey will enable these objectives be met and the IHL Working Group is looking forward to working with the team to what we hope is another fantastic IHL Finals Weekend

The venue for the men’s and women’s Wildcards on 6th – 8th May has also been decided with Cork Church of Ireland co-hosting with the IHA.
