Hockey v Archery – a bit of fun!

Posted On 17th May 2011

Wenlock, one of the 2012 Mascots is going to try out some sports in the lead up to the Games, Hockey is up against archery and, incredibly, archery has overtaken hockey in the past 24 hours, doubling its votes (600 up to 1200). So, as a result hockey is going to lose out and Wenlock is going to miss out on the chance to pick up a hockey stick.

While this is clearly a bit of light-hearted fun it’s a good way of drawing people’s attention to the Games and to hockey and so we’re encouraging people to vote for hockey.

The link to the page is http://www.mylondon2012.com/mascots/ and the voting box is halfway down on the left hand side.

Help Hockey beat Archery and join in the fun!
