The EHF Communications Committee met this weekend in Lille, FRA.
On Saturday 26th, the Committee took a tour of the grounds of EHL round 1.1 venue Lille HC and got a behind the scene look at how Prosport organizes the EHL events.
On Sunday 27th, the Committee met in Iris Hockey Lambersart club. Committee Chairman Jean-Christophe Capelle opened the meeting by highlighting the importance of hockey moving forward and holding fast to its innovative, fan centric approach. Clearly good communications and developing our social media network.
The new results system was reviewed and its success communicated to all members. A review of the 2013 TriFinance EuroHockey Championships was also given by Media Officer/Communications Manager, Siobhan Madeley.
Members updated the meeting on their various projects, which will be progressed in 2014.
However the core of the meeting was progression of the new EHF website, which will be launched in January 2014.
Cathy Harris, ENG and Delphine Benoit-Mayoux (FRA) both advised that they were stepping away from the Committee, the Chairman thanked them both for their invaluable contribution to the Committee and wished them well.
The Committee will continue to meet via Skype to progress the website and are looking for the launch of the site and further projects in 2014.
