Gintra-Strekte-Uni and Reading HC promoted at the Indoor Club Trophy in Siauliai

The last day in the Indoor Trophy in Siauliai, Lithuania brought some more exciting hockey and some high-scoring games.
In the first match of the day, the Swiss girls of Rotweiss Wettingen HC defeated Slagelse HC 8-5 (4-1). This guaranteed the Swiss team the first place position in the relegation pool D.  Unfortunately, it also sealed the deal for Slagelse HC to be relegated for 2015.
The second match of the day saw Lorenzoni HF take on Kecioren Balgum SC and win 6-5 (3-0) and avoiding relegation. Kecioren Balgum SC will also be relegated to EuroHockey Indoor Club Challenge in 2015.
The third match saw Dundee Wanderers and Reading HC battle it out for promotion. The dramatic battle ended in a draw 1-1 (1-0) which means that Reading HC won one of the coveted promotion places.
The fourth match saw the host, Gintra-Strekte-Uni take on the Belgian girls of  Royal Antwerp HC and finish off their fantastic tournament with a win 7-2 (3-1) which saw them undefeated and at the top of the promotion pool C. They will also be part of the 2015 EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup.

Best attacker – Donata Grigienė (Šiauliai Gintra-Strektė-University)
Best defender – Rebecca Ward (Dundee Wanderers)
