At the final day of the EuroHockey Club Champions Trophy in Cagliari saw Whitchurch of Wales play AHTC of Austria in a tight first half AHTC took an early lead through Kyndl however the first half was very even with both teams squandering chances. The second half started brightly with AHTC scoring two quick goals and Kyndl completed his hat trick. The game finished 0-4 with the ever consistent Monghy completing the scoring.
The second game of the day saw Grange of Scotland play the current Italian Champions Bra. Three first half was very tight contest with Bra just leading at half time 1-2. Grange started the second half well and after concerted pressure equalised in the 50 the minute from a Brogdon goal. The game remained very tight for the remainder and finished with a 2-2 draw.
A shoot out then ensued with the first 10 attempts finishing in a 2-2 draw and Bra won in sudden death from a Green conversion.
The third, fourth playoff saw Ansicora of Italy take ion ATAsport of Azerbaijan, the first half was incredibly competitive and very tight and saw the teams go in at half time al square with no goals however ATAsport came out in the second half with renewed vigour and a quick fire hat trick from Ali sealed the victory for a very impressive ATAsport side.
The final match saw OKS of Ukraine take on Monkstown of Ireland. The game set off at a remarkable pace with both sides looking for goals and only due to the exceptional goal keeping of Koval did the score stay level until the 32nd minute when Caruth pounced to open the scoring.
The second half started in the same way with both sides having chances, OKS spurning the best opportunities as the half progressed. As OKS pushed to equalise as time was drifting away from them Monkstown broke away and scored through Carson in the 67th minute to secure victory to the pleasure of the large and vociferous travelling support.

At the Challenge II in Slagelse,  the final day saw the decisions on relegation and promotion. In the morning the hosts from Soerbymagle secured a danish spot in next years edition of Challenge II with a 3-2 win over HC Gomel from Belarus. After leading 3-0 the Danes were givig away control adding a little more suspension than the enthusiastic home crowd would have liked. In the promotion matches, both teams from pool B made it rather one-sided affairs. The match between Luzern and Partille started out slowly with two teams focussing on avoiding unnecessary turnovers. The Swiss side was gaining more and more control over the game though, leading 2-0 at half time. In the second half their pressing was just too much for the increasingly tired-looking Swedish Champions. 6 more goals made it 8-0 in the end and the third time in a row Partille misses out on the chance to promote to Challenge I. In the final decision of the day, Gaziantep Polisgücu continued with the impressive speed and determination that got them into the promotion game, simply overpowering SK Senkvice with counter after counter. The turkish serial champions were leading 2-0 at half time, making it 5-2 in the end.
