Hockey4All – Germany's Comenius School on their experience at the ABNA-Amro Integration Cup

Posted On 8th September 2014

The Comenius School were one of the teams who took part in this year’s Integration Cup, held in Victory HC in Edegem, Belgium. Here they met other teams from Belgium, The Netherlands and Italy.

Once a week, the students meet to train in hockey, in the winter in their gym an in the summer on the hockey pitch!  11 players from Comenius School participated and traveled to Belgium to take part in this tournament. In addition to the G-Hockey games, the tournament also featured some top international Club games, with clubs like Waterloo Ducks (BEL) and Oranje Zwart (NED) joining in. The Comenius school team was able to compete and win some good games, which won them second place at this competition.
They are a great example that with hard work and perseverance, Hockey4All is much more than a slogan. The Comenius School will be one of the teams participating at the ParaHockey event in next year’s EuroHockey Championships in London.
