Ukrainian Hockey Federation continues to grow

Posted On 22nd September 2014

In spite of the difficulties in parts of Ukraine, the hockey family still keeps working to grow hockey and attract new children to the game. Last Sunday in Sumy over 500 people attended a festival of hockey whose aim was to promote our sport to new youngsters.

EHF wishes to congratulate Sumy, Ukrainian Hockey and HC Sumchanka on their hard work.
Rather than linking this event to top hockey matches they decided to design a set of 5 hockey stations where the children played
• Hockey Darts
• Hockey Bowls
• Beat the Goalie

After trying out these drills 12 young teams were formed for a set of Youth matches, after which HC Sumchanka gave a master class to all the children
