Club Egara had a tremendous weekend, winning both the Men and Women’s Catalonian Championship, a feat never before accomplished in this league. Both the men and the women met RC Polo Barcelona in their respective finals. EHF Vice President was present for the celebrations on Sunday afternoon.
The men’s game began with a goal for Egara in the 33rd minute, scored  by Gillem Fustegueres. Less than 10 minutes later, RC Polo equalised, with a goal by Borja Casanovas. However, Egara was able to rally and a goal by Edi Tubau cinched the victory for Club Egara. Final Score (2-1)

The women of Egara, led by coach Adrian Lock, also met RC Polo Barcelona. They were evenly matched throughout the first period, with no goals conceded. The second period brought the first goal, by Egara’s Gloria Comerma. The third period brought another goal for Egara, once again by Comerma. The last period saw Maria Tost bring Egara up to 3 goals, with RC Polo scoring soon after their first and only goal of the match. Final Score (3-1)
