Russia will meet in Poland in the 2015 EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championships after two thrilling semi-final games.
Turkey v Russia
As 5th ranked Turkey took on a more experienced 3rd ranked Russia in the first semi-final, the cards were very much in favour of the Russians. Russia pressed hard and earned a PC in the 8th minute, which was saved. KÜÇÜKKOÇ (TUR) had a chance to go ahead in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the end line. Russia reacted with a goal from BORISOVA and the score was 0-1 to Russia at the break.
The second half was exhilarating EROSHINA doubled Russia’s lead in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Russia had a nice penetration to the Turkish circle was stopped by good save from TURKER. Turkey were awarded 2 penalty corners, but just couldn’t score. With 2 minutes on the clock Turkey took their keeper off and the power play resulted in a goal from KÜÇÜKKOÇ. The score going into the last minute was 1-2 to Russia. ÇINAR equalised for Turkey and Russia countered via EROSHINA and with seconds on the clock the score was 2-3 to Russia.

Poland v Austria
Poland make the EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championship Final courtesy of a solid and powerful second half.
Austria got off to the better start winning 3 PCs in the first half but with a 0-0 scoreline at the half.
It was Poland who got on the scoresheet in the 21st minute from WITTKE and an almost zero angle. After that Poland dominated the game. WESSOLOWSKA scored in the 32nd minute and the final goal came from another corner by WESSOLOWSKA. A final PC to Austria in overtime was missed, but would have made no difference to the result.
