Day 1 at the EuroHockey Indoor Club Trophy, Lyngby

Day 1 in Lyngbyhallen saw some exciting hockey with a lot of tight games.

In pool A Olimpiia-Kolos-Sekvoya from Ukraine are looking forward to the promotion games after 2 wins. In the late evening match the host club Orient Lyngby gave the spectators great  entertainment with a 5-4 win against HC Bohemians Prague with the winning goal scored two seconds before the hooter.

In pool B WKS Grunwald Poznan seems to be the strongest team with two narrow wins against Inverleith from Scotland and Stroitel Brest from Belarus. The best match in the pool was between Inverleith (SCO) and Hockey Club Valenciennes (FRA) ended with a 5-3 win to the Scots after some solid entertainment.

On Saturday everybody is looking forward to the final pool games – the tournament is indeed still kicking and alive with all teams have everything to play for.
