EHL announced today that PRO SPORT has sold its shares in EHL

EHL announced today that PRO SPORT has sold its shares in EHL M & M B.V. and EHL Licensing B.V. to the European Hockey Federation (EHF) and MEDIAPRO, a Spanish based, leading international audio-visual services provider and sports rights management group. With immediate effect, the shareholders Board of EHL M & M B.V. and EHL Licensing B.V. consists of the European Hockey Federation, Infostrada Sports and MEDIAPRO.

Marijke Fleuren, President of the European Hockey Federation and Board member of the EHL said: “The EHF is grateful to the team at PRO SPORT. It was their commitment to the ambitious development of the EHL and their innovative TV production that led us to the creation of the fantastic event that is Euro Hockey League.”

Also on behalf of Infostrada Sports she welcomed MEDIAPRO.

MEDIAPRO partner Gerard Romy stated that the new shareholders Board will take the next steps: “I strongly believe that MEDIAPRO’s expertise in every branch of the broadcasting and audiovisual sector will bring added value to the Euro Hockey League, boosting the competition and bolstering its international expansion.”
