Technical Officials Seminar in Brussels, Belgium

The EHF Education Committee – Working Group Officials held a Technical Officials Seminar 27th – 29th March in Brussels, Belgium.

The seminar is for those officials who have experience in working as a tournament Judge or TO and have potential to act as Technical Officials or Tournament Directors at EHF events in the future. The seminar is is designed to  educate and train officials in the planning, management and thinking for the role of TO and prepare them for their next appointment.

The seminar began with a welcome reception on Friday evening, followed by two full days of work with conductors Bjorn Isberg, Edna Rutten, Sylvie Petitjean, all members of the Education Committee and very experienced TDs.

Herman Kruis (FIH Coaching committee and EHF Education Committee, working group coaches), on Personnel Development;

Clarinda Sinnige and Maarten van Heeswijk (both former Team Managers of the Dutch National Women’s and Men’s teams), on the TO-TM relationship.
