06.05.2015, Brussels: EHF President Maijke Fleuren had the pleasure to visit Wrexham last Saturday to watch and enjoy the Welsh National Youth Finals.

A real Festival of hockey  with Under 11, 13, 15 and 18 boys and girls battling it out to become ‘Cymru’ Champions.

Marijke said “It was a fantastic! A very well organised day with exciting games, good umpires, a lot of supportive parents and a very  happy Helen Bushell, CEO of Hockey Wales. It was my pleasure to thank on behalf of the EHF the players and volunteers for their shining performance. We know how much work is being done in each of our 43 Member Associations on a daily and weekly basis to ensure these critical events take place, and it really was an honour for me to be there with the players, their parents and the volunteers in Wrexham last weekend.”

Marijke is pictured with the group, thanking them for inviting her to join in their National Youth Finals Day.
