In the second semi-final it was a very close game with both sides capable of the win. It took until the 61st minute for The Netherlands to break through the excellent Belgian defense and the reply came a minute later from Stanley Verhoeven to even the score. No joy in normal time to separate the teams! So we went to a fantastic and well executed shoot out. There had to be a winner from this game and  it came via Jonas de Geus who put The Netherlands through 3-4. The now face Germany in the Final.
