25.07.2015, Brussels; Yesterday we continued with the tournament after the rest day. Over the night there was a thunderstorm with rain that cooled the air. The day was less hot then previous days but more humid….
24th July Games:
SUI v LTU 2 – 2 (1 – 1)
The first match was between teams of Switzerland and Lithuania. We saw a great match where leader kept changing. Lithuania scored right at the beginning but Switzerland evened the score five minutes later. In second half it was Switzerland who took the lead but Lithuania managed to score for a tie. This is the first draw in the tournament.
RUS v TUR 5 – 0 (1 – 0)
The second match was between Turkey and Russia. Russia played without a player who was red carded in last match but that didn’t stop them to dominating the pitch again. Turkey contained Russia in the first half but Russia then showed their strength in the second half.
The situation is now clear! Tomorrow, first match that will be played between Russia and Lithuania will decide the winner of this tournament. Lithuania needs a victory if they want to win, Russia only need a draw.
