Glasgow, Varna, Prague and Sveti Ivan Zelina to host SNG workshops

Supporting National Growth (SNG) is one of the pillars of the EHF’s educational programme. There are 4 SNG workshops coming up in 2015, check them out below!

25th – 27th September 2015, Glasgow / SCOTLAND

An umpire workshop will held in parallel with the U16/U18 outdoor boys tournament, and umpires’ and umpires coaches from 5 countries (England, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Wales) will have an active role in it. The conductor will be the FIH umpire manager Philip Schellekens from the Netherlands.
Philip brings a rich background of Top Level outdoor hockey. His main goal for the seminar will be simple:  Management is the key!

Classroom workshops will be dynamic, with questions and lively discussion. During the seminar, it will be the usual pre- and post- match meetings between appointed umpires, the group of umpire’s coaches and Philip.

16th – 18th October 2015, Varna / BULGARIA

The workshop will held in parallel with the men and women national outdoor Championship, and umpires’ and umpires coaches from 6 countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece,FYROM, and Romania) will have an active role in it. Conductor is FIH umpire manager Craig Madden from Scotland.
Craig’s motto for this workshop is: Let’s celebrate Outdoor Hockey!

13th – 15th November 2015, Prague / CZECH REPUBLIC

This seminar will be run alongside a men and women indoor tournament, Umpires and umpires’ coaches from 4 countries (Belarus, Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia) will have an active role in it.. The conductor is FIH umpire manager Juanma Requena from Spain.
Juanma’s strategy for this workshop reflects his outlook on and off the pitch:  Making Friends!

13th – 15th November 2015, Sveti Ivan Zelina / CROATIA

This umpire workshop will held in parallel with a men and women indoor tournament, and umpires’ and umpires coaches from 5 countries (Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovenia) will have an active role in it. The conductor will be the FIH umpire manager Rob ten Cate from Holland.
Rob’s strategy for this workshop is to get everyone to focus and most importantly, Enjoy the game!
