EHL Draw takes place today at 5.30pm – LIVE on Twitter

The draw for the Euro Hockey League KO16 will take place on Wednesday evening, 18th November, at 5.30pm (CET).

It will see 16 of Europe’s best club sides find out who they will meet next Easter, from March 25 to 28, 2016, in the knock-out stages of the world’s premier club competition.

EHF President Marijke Fleuren, EHF Board Member Jorge Alcover and EHF Competitions Manager David Voskamp will preside over the draw.

The draw will be tweeted live on both @EHLHockeyTV and @eurohockeyorg with the hashtag #EHLDraw2016.

Round 1 qualifiers AH&BC Amsterdam (NED), Royal Léopold (BEL), Club Egara (ESP) and Harvestehuder THC (GER) earned their place in the next phase of the competition with their performances in Hamburg in October.

They will join the 12 sides who received byes in the hat for the KO16: Oranje Zwart, SV Kampong (both NED), Atlètic Terrassa, Real Club de Polo (both ESP), UHC Hamburg, Rot-Weiss Köln (both GER), KHC Leuven, KHC Dragons (both BEL), Dinamo Kazan (RUS), Racing Club de France (FRA), Wimbledon (ENG) and WKS Grunwald Poznan (POL).

The venue and fixture times for the KO16 and KO8 will be confirmed at a later date while ticket details are also set to follow. 

The FINAL4 will take place in Barcelona between May 13 and 16.
