Day 2 – EuroHockey Indoor Club Trophy, Russia

A fantastic day of hockey is just done at the EuroHockey Indoor Club Trophy in Pavlovskii Posad, Russia

Game 9 – Pool A -Royal HC Namur – Atlético Clube de Portugal 5-1 (3-1)

The Belgian team felt themselves confidently, they had an initiative and after first time they went for a break with the score (2:0). The only single goal on the 19th minute was by the captain of Portuguese. On the other hand Gilles JACOB was distinguished  by hat-trick scored in succession PS, PC и FG.

Game 10 – Pool A – HC Minsk – Inverleith 3-3 (2-3)

The club from Belorussia lost again. They had two drawn games with the representatives of Scotland. The Belorussian opened the score with a penalty (Ivan LUTSEVICH), but then there were three balls in their gate, two of which are competently realized small penalty corner kick. One minute before the break Ivan LUTSEVICH won back one ball, and after it on the 22nd minute he led his team  to victory.

Game 11 – Pool B – Dinamo Elektrostal – Amsterdam 2-3 (1-0)

The home team made a reservation among four of the strongest teams and Yaroslav LOGINOV opened the score on the 18th minute with a beautiful goal. “Amsterdam” won back only on the 28th minute when the captain Robert TIGGES scored exactly minor penalty corner kick. And then he brought forward the team with the exact penalty.”Dynamo” leveled the situation with a small penalty corner kick by Dmitrii AZAROV. But the same TIGGES scored the tenth goal from a penalty and let the team mates to celebrate a victory.

Game 12  – Pool B – Cambrai HC – OKS 1-1 (0-0)

The last match of morning session was stressful. Teams went for a break without opening the score. Only on the 25th minute Maxence DAUCHEZ gave a hope to his team . It held only 10 minutes until Andrii KOSHELENKO didn’t level the situation by a small penalty corner kick.

DAY 2 – The Evening Session

 Game 13 Atletico Clube de Portugal – HC OKS-SHVSM Vinnitsa 5-5 (2-2)

The first match in group D was fundamental, as all four teams have 2 points. In the first half, the players were playing catch-up and went to the break with the score 2-2. Rebuilding tactics Ukrainians 4 minutes scored three goals. But the Portuguese replied with the same trick: four minutes – three goals. Again, adraw – 5-5.

Game 14 HCMinskCambraiHC 3-0 (1-0)

Finally, Minsk first victory, at what is very decent. Remaining four two and a half minutes before the end of the first half,  Minskers played penalty corner “on the flag” and Ivan LUTSEVICH opened the scoring. After a break of 31’  and 36’ twice noted in the opponent’s goal Belarusian player Aliaksandr HANCHAROU.

Game 15 Royal HC Namur – Dinamo Elektrostal 5-4 (3-2)

HC Namur, entered in group C without points, was ready to show the speed and professional game. And in fact, the whole game has developed in allegro tempo. At 2’, the captain Elektrostal Evgenii MOKROUSOV opens score, on the 9’ Jacob GILLES holds the ball back. With 11’ Ilya LARIKOV brings forward the team, and after a few seconds Dmitrii AZAROV makes the gap even more – 3:1. Viktor POKORNY 13’ into the game implements a penalty corner.

The second half started again with a goal Viktor POKORNY. The balance was held a short time: 29’ the captain again led the team forward, and then added to the third goal. But Viktor Pokorny did not want to lag behind and also scored a hat-trick.

Game 16 Inverleith HC – AH&BC Amsterdam 6-8 (3-5)

Amsterdam, tournament leader, in the first minute proved that he has the right to claim the title of champion of the tournament: Robert TIGGES implemented a penalty corner. Scots recouped, but then lost the initiative, conceding three goals. But the first half ended peacefully, Amsterdam had the advantage of two goals. Inverleith HC showed a decent game, it was the most productive match in which 14 goals were scored!
