The EHF Executive Board is meeting today and tomorrow for it’s first meeting of 2016 in the EHF’s Office in Brussels, Belgium.
With a full agenda ahead they will be reviewing all the work done at the meetings of the Development Projects Committee last weekend and taking reports from:
Education Committee
- Working Group – Coaches report
- Working Group – Umpires report
- Working Group – Officials report
Also the Communications Committee will be reporting especially on the Live Streaming Project that has been rolled out since January of this year.
The Director General, Angus Kirkland will report on:
- Strategy
- World Event Portfolio Update
- Continental Federations /FIH meeting update
- EHC 2017 update
The Competitions Committee – Outdoor will be presenting their recommendations for 2017 EuroHockey Championships II, III, IV and the EuroHockey Junior Championships. Venues, Pools and dates will be announced during next week.
In addition the Competitions Committee Indoor will update on season 2016.
An update on EHL 2015/16 will be received by the Board.
The Treasurer will report on up to date finances.
The Appointments Committee will report on stats for 2015, the high level of withdrawals of National Umpires in particular will be discussed.
