2017 EuroHockey Junior Championships

16th March 2016: The EHF is delighted to announce to 2017 EuroHockey Junior Championship hosts, venues and qualified teams. Following much consideration by the Competitions Committee, Outdoor, and with the full approval of the Executive Board, the 2017 Championships will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2014 competition.

EuroHockey Junior Men’s Championship

Teams:            Pool A: NED, BEL, ESP, POR; Pool B: GER, ENG, AUT, IRL

Venue:             Valencia (ESP)

Dates:             28 August-3 September 2017

EuroHockey Junior Women’s Championship

Teams:            Pool A: NED, ESP, BEL, IRL; Pool B: GER, ENG, FRA, ITA

Venue:             Valencia (ESP)

Dates:             28 August-3 September 2017

EuroHockey Junior Men’s Championship II

Teams:            Pool A: FRA, ITA, RUS, CZE; Pool B: POL, SCO, UKR, TUR

Venue:             St. Petersburg (RUS)

Dates:             16-22 July 2017

EuroHockey Junior Men’s Championship III

Teams:            BLR/LTU/SUI

Venue:             TBC

Dates:             TBC

EuroHockey Junior Women’s Championship II

Teams:            Pool A: CZE, SCO, POL, TUR; Pool B: RUS, UKR, BLR, AUT

Venue:             Hradec Kralove (CZE)

Dates:             16-22 July 2017

Reserve team is LTU

President of Czech Hockey, Gino Schilders said “We  are delighted that another youth tournament will come to the Czech Republic and we are looking forward to stage another top event for the players and the fans. Hradec Kralove is one of the upcoming hockey cities with a lot of hockey enthusiasm to share”
