14th May 2016; As the semi-final day came to a conclusion, once again we have an All Dutch Final here in Bilthoven, as current Champions SCHC take on the current Dutch Champions Den Bosch. Which means that both the EHCCC and indeed the EHL Final will be for the first time ever all Dutch.

Semi- Final 1

UHC Hamburg v Den Bosch 2-5

The first goal was scored by Nora Korn from Hamburg. The second by Lidewij Welten from Den Bosch. Madrid soon struck back with another goal by Marleen Müller, making the score 2-1 for UHC Hamburg. Shortly after that Lidewij Welten scored the equalizer. After that Maartje Paumen scored three goals in a row for HC Den Bosch, ending the game with a score of 5-2 for HC Den Bosch. Semi-Final 2

Club de Campo v SCHC 0-1

The second match of the day was most thrilling. Even around the break after the first half the score was still at 0-0 for both SCHC and Club Campo Villa de Madrid. There was a lot of gasping for air hearable in the crowd as there were many chances to score for both teams. During the third quarter of the match, Xan de Waard scored the first goal. Seconds before the end of the game Maartje Cox from SCHC stopped a penalty corner Madrid was trying to make.
