Day 2 at EHL

Posted On 8th October 2016

Day two of the Euro Hockey ROUND1 in Banbridge sees the host club make their tournament entry for 2016/17 along with the reigning champions SV Kampong, Atletic Terrassa and UHC Hamburg in a quality line-up.

Atletic are first on pitch against Dinamo Kazan with the Spanish side looking to emulate their run to the FINAL4 with a star-studded line-up featuring Olympians Jordi Carrerra and Marc Salles but Roc Oliva is suspended for this tie.

UHC face an Amsicora side who will hope they can post a strong defensive performance against the three-time champions at 12.30pm (BST).

At 2.45pm, Banbridge make their return to the EHL for a second appearance, galvanised by a strong local crowd at their Havelock Park home. They meet a Saint Germain side who will be looking to bounce back quickly.

Holcombe are the only side who can guarantee their passage to the KO16 today if they get one over Kampong but the Dutch side will not relinquish their title easily at 5pm.

It makes for a high octane day of action. All the games will be exculsively live streamed via
