#FridayFocus – Meet the new coaches in our Education programmes!

The European Hockey Federation is happy to announce the groups for the 2017 Coaching Education programmes, the Top Coaches Programme (TCP) and Coaches 4 Europe (C4E).

Top Coaches Programme (TCP)

Ten new coaches join our top tier, led by Herman Kruis and EHF Education and Development Manager Norman Hughes. Eleven returning coaches will work with Herman, Norman and programme mentors Dave Passmore, Thomas Tichleman, Robin Roesch, Michel Kinnen and Grahame Mansell-Grace. The programme has eleven represented nations; the coaches will participate in two seminars during the year, along with webinars in order to work towards earning their FIH Academy Level 3 Coaching award.

Former TCP members continue to progress in their careers and succeed: Stan Huijsman is now Assistant Coach for the U18 National Dutch team (Women) and Sven van der Most is now Assistant Coach for the Indoor National team (Women). Petr Tronicek is now the National Coach (Indoor) for Slovakia and Goran Jamicic is the Assistant National Coach (Indoor).

Coaches 4 Europe (C4E)

Five new coaches join the C4E programme, led by Norbert Nederlof and EHF Education and Development Manager Norman Hughes. They join the returning 8 returning coaches and will be mentored by Tomislav Jamicic, Bernando Fernandes, and Graham Mansell-Grace.
