It was an important win for RWW.

Match 11: Minsk – Bruxelles 1:3

The winner of pool A was decided after a very nervous match. Minsk had a great start to the match, after Korsik scored a goal in the 9th minute. Racing equalized in the 10th minute (Boon).

The real drama was in the second half. Minsk were down a player and Racing scored two goals in the same minute (24th). By the end of the match, despite  a lot of chances for both teams, but the result didn’t change – 3:1 for Belgium side.

Nowakowski and Premilovac scored and  Zelina led 2:0 after six minutes. Marik scored the first goal for Czech team in a 11th minute and that was a result at the break.

The Zelina players tried to score another goal to breathe easier and Premilovac, after solo action increased the lead 3:1. Bohemians players did not give up, and with a man less, two minutes to the end, M. Richter scored. The last two minutes were only for those supporters of the home team with a strong heart! After 7: 0 in the 27th minutes, Bohemians relaxed and Portuguese managed to score a few goals. The result will mean that Portugal will play next season in the Challenge I with no chance of staying in this division.

Match 14: Zelina – Inverleith 3:2

Croatian hockey will have a team in the Trophy in 2018 after Zelina won the match against Inverleith 3:2. On Saturday we saw two identical matches for Zelina. As in the first, the home team took 2:0 advantage (Lykov – 17, 20), and then Inverleith scored for 2:1 (S. Dick – 24). Five minutes before the end Premilovac scored for Zelina. A minute later, Wolski scored the second goal for Inverleith. In the last four minutes, both teams had chances to score, but a result remains the same. 3-2 for the home side.

Match 15: Minsk – Slagelse 10:4

An excellent performance by Minsk in their second game of the day. Artsiom Skorb was the best player of the game with four goals, the first four on the tournament for him. The Belarus team was faster and better organized than the Danish team. Therefore it’s not surprising they led by 7:1 after the first 20 minutes.

In the second half the game was more equal, both teams scored three goals and Minsk is waiting for Sunday and the last game against RW Wettingen with five points in their Pool.

Match 16: Racing Bruxelles – RW Wettingen

In the last match on Saturday spectators in Zelina saw the best two teams from pool A (Racing) and pool B (RW Wettingen) and the first draw of the Tournament!  We have to wait for the Sunday to see who will be promoted to EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup next year.
