12th February 2017: The last day of the Challenge started with the host’s last match.

17 Pool D PREDANOVCI – SOROKSARI 4 – 5 (1 – 2)

Soroksári HC beat HK Triglav Predanovci. It was very tough, only one goal difference decided the match. The Hungarian side took the lead in the 18th minute. However Triglav were eager to make a comeback, in the end the Slovenian squad couldn’t  convert two penalty corners into goals.

18 Pool D CARDIFFMET – NSA 15 – 0 (8 – 0)

The Welsh team took on their Bulgarian opponent. Cardiff got the lead early in the first half and the Bulgarians didn’t give a chance to come back. However NSA Sofia played with  their hearts, this time it wasn’t enough.

Pool C RONCHIN – BRA 3 – 2 (2 – 1)

HC Bra played against the Frenchmen for the first place of the tournament. What a game of hockey it was, 40 minutes of excitement. The boys in yellow couldn’t beat the French so the ‘Monkeys’ went on to win the Competition without losing a single game.

Pool C OKSVINNITSA – SENKVICE 7 – 2 (4 – 2)

The last match was between the Ukrainian side and the Slovakian champions. The Ukrainians needed a difference of at least 10 goals to get promoted.
