#FridayFocus – Nominate your umpires and officials for 2018 Indoor!

Posted On 3rd March 2017

Get nominating!

The Nomination period for Indoor 2018 will officially open on FRIDAY March 6th 2017. It will remain open for six weeks, ending on FRIDAY April 14th 2017.

Moving forward, any new additions to the EHF officials panel need to complete an EHF course before they can be considered for appointments. This means that any new entries to a national nomination list need to attend the Basic Judges Seminar in August 2017 to qualify for 2018 Indoor appointments!

Details about the Breda seminar will be sent to all National Associations in the coming weeks.

The period for Outdoor 2018 nominations will be June 5 – July 14 2017.

Some useful reminders:

– All appointments are made at the Appointment Committee’s discretion.

– There is no limit to how many umpires you can appoint. We advise you to nominate as many suitable umpires as possible to avoid any problems arising from illness, work scheduling conflicts and so on.

– Our automated appointments system (AWS) will send automatic reminders for every unanswered appointment. If an appointment has gone unanswered for over 28 days and we have not received any news, this appointment is subject for removal at the AC’s discretion.
