#FridayFocus – TO Seminar in EHF Office

The EHF Education Committee – Working Group Officials held a Technical Officials Seminar this past weekend at the EHF Office (31st March – 2nd April)

Conductors Edna Rutten, Sylvie Petitjean and Rogier Warris guided 11 participants from 10 nations through a big programme, including:

  • The Role of the TO
  • Media/Social Media
  • Personal Skills as a TO
  • Cricket – a case study
  • TO and UM
  • Code of Conduct, Protests and Hearings

The weekend included some guest speakers: Eric Pirenne, Belgium National Team Manager, Doctor Peter Weefers Bettink and Sports Psychologist to the Belgian Red Devils (Belgium’s National football team) Jef Brouwers.

Each session included an interactive component and discussions within the group.

The EHF would like to thank Edna, Sylvie and Rogier for giving up their time to conduct this seminar, and a special thanks to the guest speakers as well.
