EuroHockey5s U16 Championships 2017

The 2017 EuroHockey5s U16 Championships (Girls and Boys) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2016 competition.

NOTE For the EuroHockey5s Championship tournaments which are a qualifying tournament for the Youth Olympic Games, the composition of the pools will be the responsibility of the EHF and will be based upon the World Ranking of the participants’ senior teams (on the moment the match schedules are prepared).

Boy’s Championship – Walcz (POL) – 5-8 July 2017

Teams: AUT, BLR, BUL, CRO, DEN, FIN, FRA, GEO, LTU, POL, SUI, TUR, UKR, WAL.

Pool A: FRA/CRO/TUR

Pool B: POL/BLR/LTU

Pool C: AUT/WAL/DEN/GEO

Pool D: UKR/SUI/BUL/FIN

GIB,POR and ITA withdrew

Girl’s Championship – Wattignies (FRA) – 12-15 July 2017

Teams: AUT, BLR, CRO, FRA, GEO, GIB, LTU, POL, TUR, WAL.

Pool A: BLR/AUT/WAL/CRO/GIB

Pool B: POL/FRA/LTU/TUR

UKR,POR,ITA and GEO withdrew

Note: The withdrawal date for all tournaments in this competition is 15 January 2017. Any NA withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF.
