EuroHockey Junior Championships, Women, Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic

Posted On 16th July 2017

16th July: The EuroHockey Junior Championships, Women also starts today in Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic and will run until 22nd July.

Pool A is made up of Czech Republic, Russia, Scotland and Turkey. Czech and Russia were relegated in 2014, Scotland finished 4th in Championship II and Turkey just avoided relegation in 2014, so it will be a tricky pool to make the semi-finals!

Pool B comprises the Austria, Belarus,Poland and Ukraine. All of these teams participated in the Championship II in Vienna in 2014, Ukraine finished 4th, Poland 5th, Belarus 6th and Austria 7th, so it’s a tough one to call on who will make the semi-finals from such a close group.
