Following completion of the 2017 EuroHockey Junior Championships (Men & Women), the final ranking, promotion and relegation positions are confirmed as follows:

Junior Championship (M), Valencia (ESP), 28 August-3 September 2017 *

  1. Netherlands – European Junior Champions
  2. Belgium
  3. Germany
  4. Spain
  5. England
  6. Austria
  7. Ireland (relegated to Junior Championship II in 2019)
  8. Portugal (relegated to Junior Championship II in 2019)

Junior Championship II (M), St. Petersburg (RUS), 16-22 July 2017

  1. France (promoted to Junior Championship in 2019)
  2. Poland (promoted to Junior Championship in 2019)
  3. Scotland
  4. Czech Republic
  5. Italy
  6. Russia
  7. Turkey
  8. Ukraine (relegated to Championship III in 2019)

 Junior Championship III (M), Lucerne (SUI), 19-22 July 2017 – cancelled

  1. Belarus (promoted to Junior Championship II in 2019 after a draw between Belarus and Switzerland)
  2. Switzerland

Junior Championship (W), Valencia (ESP), 28 August-3 September 2017 *

Lithuania was reserve team for Championship II.
