Gibraltar win’s EuroHockey Championship IV

5th August 2017: Gibraltar has taken the EuroHockey Championship IV and promotion to the 3rd division in 2019 in some style in Lipovci, Slovenia. 

Gibraltar won all 4 of their games at EHC IV this week putting them 3 points clear of the hosts Slovenia and taking the promotional slot on offer.

In their final game of the Championships they overcame Cyprus 12-1. The hosts finished behind them on 9 points with a 3-1 victory over Hungary.

Julian Lopez, and Ian Rodriguez Gibraltar won the joint top goal scorer award with 6 goals each!
