18th September 2017: The EHF Competitions Committee Outdoor met last Saturday 16th September in Zagreb, Croatia.
First a report was received from the Regulations Working Group that had met on 15th September. Certain amendments to the various regulations and Event Manuals will be made in the near future.
The TD reports from the Club events during the 2016-2017 season were considered and the committee believes it was a great EuroHockey club season again and all hosts should be congratulated and thanked for their enormous efforts.
TD reports from the EuroHockey5s Championship events in July were also considered and the feedback from the teams and officials were noted.
The last TD reports to be received and considered were those of the EuroHockey Junior and Senior Championships 2017. On instruction from the EHF Executive Board the Committee discussed the 2 games that were not played on the final day at the EuroHockey Junior Championships in Valencia. After a full and detailed discussion the committee has made recommendations to the EHF Executive Board.
The committee also congratulated and thanked all hosts for their hospitality and efforts to make these memorable events for all involved.
All offers to host the EuroHockey outdoor Club Tournaments in 2018 were considered and discussed and the decisions on all club Trophy and Challenge events will be published Thursday 21st September 10.30h CET. The host of the EuroHockey Club Cup for women will be announced following the EHF Executive Board Meeting in 2 weeks time.
