29th January 2018: Last weekend a number of countries completed their Indoor National Championships with new and old champions celebrating not only being national winners but also securing vital places in the EuroHockey Indoor Championships in 2019.

In Ireland, current Champions Three Rock Rovers HC, Men, retained their crown and now know that at the EuroHockey Indoor Club Challenge IV in Tiblisi in February they are fighting to get promotion for themselves in 2019! The women’s team of Ards beat Railway Union to lift the Cup.

In England, East Grinstead men and Bowdon Hightown women were victorious at the Jaffa Super 6s Finals in front of 4,000 fans at the Copper Box Arena on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

In Austria, SV Armenin dominated taking both titles! Both finals at the Navax Hall Master 2018 were fought but at the end there SV Armenin completed a 5th in a row double for their women and their men.

Best of luck to all the teams in their upcoming national Finals! Send your stories and photographs to me, Siobhán Madeley, Communications Manager – communications@eurohockey.org
