First game was at 10:00 between the clubs from Armenia and Bulgaria. It ended with Armenia winning 9 – 2.  Armenia  had on strong team. Players: 4, 7, 13 and 14 scored. From Bulgaria only 3 and 4 scored but considering that this was the first match of the tournament it went off fantastic without major problems.

In the next match the clubs from Norway and Finland were playing and it was really tense, because both teams had almost the same strength.  The first half ended with a score of 1-1. Within the whole game the lead was changing and the match finished with the score 3-4 in favour of the Norwegians

The third game was between Lithuania and the home Tbilisi . It should be noted that Lithuania are back playing men’s indoor hockey after a break of 8 years and it was Tblisi’s first time hosting! It ended 4 – 1 to the Lithuanian’s. Lithuania players: 3, 8 and 12 scored. From Tbilisi the number 13 player scored, this game as well was just smooth and without any trouble.

I think the results of the game between Armenia and Ireland have never been predicted. The match was pleasant to see. Both teams had equal chance of winning. The first half ended with a score of 1-1 but the winner of this tense match became Ireland with a score 2-3. It was a one of the best matches today.

The game between Finland and Bulgaria went in favour for Finland.  It ended 6 – 1.   Finnish players: 2, 4, 6, 13 and 15 scored and from Bulgarian  only number 4 scored. There where  no technical problems and everyone was happy and friendly.

The match between Lithuania and Norway was one of the most interesting and surprising. In the first half Lithuania had a big advantage, and most viewers probably thought the winner was that team. For Lithuania it was very easy to score goals and finished the first half with a score 5-3.The second half was really surprising because Lithuania was able to score only one goal, while Norway scored 5 goals and  became the winner of the match with a score 6-8.

The final game of the day was between the hosts from Tblisi and the Irish boys, in spite of a fantastic home crowd who cheered their team on really well, Three Rock Rovers were the worthy 10-0 winners.
