6th July 2018: Today’s Friday Focus focuses on the South East European Hockey5s Championships which was held from from 29th June to 1st  July the Southeastern European Championship was held in Albena, Bulgaria.

It was attended by boys and girls under 15 years old from the national teams of Romania, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey and Bulgaria.

Following a fantastic event of 3 days of Hockey5s where the young (u16) players from the region had the opportunity to pit themselves against the other nations.

Final Ranking in the Championship

Girls

1st place – Turkey
2nd place – Ukraine
3rd place – Bulgaria
4th place – Georgia
5th place – Ukraine B
6th place – Romania
Fairplay Cup – Georgia

Boys

1st place – Turkey
2nd place – Bulgaria
3rd place – Armenia

The EHF is very grateful to the Bulgarian Hockey leadership team who hosted. Also a huge well done to all the national team players and coaches for their successful and dignified performance, as well as to the officials who ensured the high organization of this Southeast European Hockey5s Championship.
