2019 EuroHockey Club Championships – UPDATED

The EHF is delighted to announce the 2019 outdoor club venues and pools. Club hockey is the beating heart of hockey in Europe. We are thankful that our clubs, some new to hosting and some experienced clubs, are ready and willing to ensure that 2019 is another great year for EuroHockey club events!

The EuroHockey Club Trophy and Challenge (Men) & Club Champions Cup, Trophy and Challenge (Women) tournaments in 2019 will take place as follows (Hosts are highlighted in bold):

On being awarded the EHCC, Erich Schnoeckel, speaking on behalf of AH&BC said “We indeed are very happy that we are to organize this great event. We have been organizing events for our men’s teams quite often over the last years and are delighted that we now can accommodate an event for our successful ladies team. It is a great pleasure to do so and the combination of a tournament with the U14 future talents make it even nicer.”

Holcombe’s Chairman, Jon Rye said “We are delighted to have been selected as host of the EuroHockey Club Trophy (Women) 2019.  It is our first time hosting a EuroHockey event and one that will give a buzz to our members and the local community.  After a successful EuroHockey campaign last season for our Ladies 1XI , it seemed only fitting that the club applied to host the 2019 Trophy and allowed our hockey family to share in the EuroHockey excitement.  It will certainly help the club and hockey family increase the visibility of our sport.  Our volunteers will work tirelessly to ensure that players, spectators, EHF officials, media and sponsors receive a warm welcome at Holcombe Park.”

NB: All teams should take EHF regulation B3d into account: All participating teams must be present with their full squad, subject to emergencies, in their hotel by, at the latest, 19.00hrs on the evening before the first match of the tournament. Failure to arrive on time may result in a team being disqualified from the tournament.

NB: All match schedules will be announced no later than mid-November.


The withdrawal date for all tournaments in this competition is 31 October 2018. Any club withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF. See current EHF Club Regulations for further details.
