EHF launches the 2019 Euro ParaHockey Championship entry

Posted On 26th November 2018

As an official side-event of the Belfius EuroHockey Championships, Royal Victory Hockey Club; a leading club in Belgium with a proud history that boasts 3 water-based pitches, will host the Euro ParaHockey Championships from 18th – 21st August 2019. The organising committee from the club wishes all teams a fabulous time! The EHF hopes to have 12 nations participating in 2019, a growth of 2 nations from 2017 in Amsterdam.

There will be three Divisions as usual:

Championship (Performance)

Trophy (Intermediate)

Challenge (Emerging)

Games will take place in Victory HC on the 19th and 20th with the final games (where all ParaHockey athletes will have a chance to play) taking place on the Belfius EuroHockey Championship pitch on the 21st. Nations participating in the EuroHockey Championships are invited and encouraged to come and support their teams at Royal Victory HC! An unforgettable experience for the mainstream and parahockey players alike!

The closing ceremony will be on the Championship pitch and each athlete will receive a participation medal and bring the joy of ParaHockey to the main stadium!

The EHF and Royal Victory have committed to keeping the costs as low as possible for the teams and so the cost for each participant and member of the management team is a very reasonable €215 per person.

This includes transfers, accommodation, all meals, travel in Belgium to the club (Victory) and a visit to the Belfius EuroHockey Championships.
