Southeast Europe Club League In Indoor Women’s hockey in Jagodina – Serbia.

Posted On 9th January 2019

We are delighted to announce that the first competition for the Southeast European League for indoor hockey for women with the participation of four teams – two from Serbia and two from Bulgaria took place last weekend in Jagodina – Serbia.

Thanks to local organizers – HK “Sreten Adzic”, and their president Prof. Markovic it felt really great to be part of the event.

The day before the games teams had a joint training session and a joyful evening afterwards.

In The City Hall, we’ve seen excellent and exciting games. After a great effort, the first place was taken by team BASK from Belgrade, and the final order is:

1. BASK Belgrade – SRB

2. NSA Sofia – BUL

3. HK Plovdiv – BUL

4. HK “Sreten Adžić” Jagodina – SRB

Due to great interest from the teams in other countries in the SE region for the next year in the league, there will be more teams from more countries and looks like this competition will grow fast.

A great example of superb co-operation between clubs and Member Associations – the core of hockey in Europe! Well done to all. Other teams in the region interested in getting involved, please contact Tom Pedersen Smith – development@eurohockey.org
