Following the completion of the Pool C relegation games Belarus, Poland and the Czech Republic will remain in the top flight of the EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championships in 2021 with Ukraine the team to miss out and be relegated to Championship II.

Belarus v Ukraine 5-1 (3-0)

In a demonstration of their penalty corner strength, Belarus finished their tournament on a high with a solid win over Ukraine and a full 9 points in the pool.

BATSIUKOVA opened the scoring for Belarus in the 3rd minute with a powerful pc strike. Soon after MIHUNOVA converted another pc and SYDDYKAVA pushed the score to 3-0 following an excellent team buildup and a strike from the top of the D. The 3-0 scoreline at the break a fair reflection of the dominance of Belarus.

Ukraine opted for 6 field players in the second half and pressed hard to reduce the deficit, some chances going wide of the post. However, Belarus went ahead again and a goal from Ukraine in the 38th wasn’t nearly enough. Belarus finished the game with a final pc strike and a 5-1 win.

Czech Republic v Poland 1-4 (1-1)

The hosts finally found their form in their final game of the Championship with a solid win over the Czech Republic. However it was Czech who went ahead in the 4th minute, but this was countered in the 10th minute. An so the score remained until the break.

Poland got the better of the start of the second half REDER on target from a pc strike and then a beautifully worked team goal from the Polish D saw BALCERZAK finish and put Poland in charge of the game. Czech was frustrated and that led to them losing their shape and a final goal for Polish captain POLEWCZAK in the 35th minute and that sealed the win 1-4.
