2019 EuroHockey Junior Championships – UPDATED

The 2019 EuroHockey Junior Championships (Men and Women) will take place on the following dates at the venues stated. Participating nations have qualified for each division based on their final ranking from the 2017 competition.

 

Men’s Junior Championship

Pool A:           BEL, ENG, ESP, POL

Pool B:           AUT, FRA, GER, NED

Venue:            Valencia (ESP)

Dates:             15-21 July 2019

Men’s Junior Championship II

Pool A:           BLR, CZE, IRL, TUR

Pool B:           ITA, POR, RUS, SCO

Venue:            Plzeň Litice (CZE)

Dates:             14-20 July 2019

Men’s Junior Championship III

One Pool:       LTU, UKR, WAL

Venue:            Vilnius (LTU)

Dates:             18-21 July 2019

Women’s Junior Championship

Pool A:           ESP, FRA, IRL, NED, RUS

Pool B:           BEL, BLR, ENG, GER

Venue:            Valencia (ESP)

Dates:             13-21 July 2019

Women’s Junior Championship II

Pool A:           ITA, POL, UKR, TUR

Pool B:           SCO, CZE, WAL, AUT

Venue:           Alanya (TUR)

Dates:             14-20 July 2019

NB For the Junior Championships tournaments the composition of the pools will be the responsibility of the EHF and will be based upon the World Ranking of the participants’ senior teams (on the moment the match schedules are prepared). The match schedules were prepared in October 2018 and as soon as they have been approved by FIH, the host organisers will send them to the participating teams.

Note: The withdrawal date for all tournaments in these competitions is 15 January 2019.
Any National Association withdrawing after that date may be subject to a fine or other disciplinary action by EHF. See current EHF Regulations for further details.
