European Hockey Federation and Coach Logic announce technology partnership

Posted On 8th May 2019

The European Hockey Federation (EHF) is pleased to announce a technology partnership with Coach Logic to enhance coach education and mentoring.

Coach Logic is a collaborative video analysis platform for ambitious sports teams that uses the power of video to support player and coach development.

Coach Logic will become official Assessment and Video Analysis partner for all EHF Educational programs, which encompass both the Top Coaches Program (TCP) and the Coaches 4 Europe (C4E) program.

The EHF will utilise Coach Logic for the ongoing assessment and monitoring of coaches on the TCP and C4E courses. The platform will also be utilised to complete match analysis assessments and provide coaches with an online community that extends beyond the course contact time.

As part of the partnership, the EHF is excited to offer all of its member coaches free access to their very own Coach Logic platform. This will enable coaches to upload match footage, clip and create playlists for further discussion with their team.

On the partnership Thomas Pedersen-Smith, EHF Development and Education Manager said:

“I am excited to have agreed on this partnership, since meeting Mark it has become evident that Coach Logic and ourselves have the same ambition to drive forward new technology to support the learning environment for coaches across Europe”.

Coach Logic CPO Mark Cairns echoed these comments adding

“Everyone at Coach Logic is delighted to be partnering with the EHF and supporting their coaches in their education courses. We have been really enthused by the energy and drive coming from within the EHF, which is typified by the approaches of Tom and his staff. The EHF has a clear vision to raise coach development and increase coaching opportunities at all levels and we’re grateful to be a part of this.”
