The EHF is delighted that there are so many young umpires in Europe who are looking to learn, improve and further their umpiring careers.
We are grateful for receiving such a high quality of applications from National Associations and are delighted to have been over-subscribed.
We have now reached a magic milestone of over 30 National Associations who have been represented through the U4E programme. As stipulated, the total number on the programme is 36. Following the selection process by the EHF Education Committee Umpiring Group, we are delighted to announce the participants who have been chosen to take part in the Umpires for Europe (U4E) programme in 2019.
The U4E programme will continue to remain the only pathway into UDP selection which is carried out during the U4E Breda weekend.
