The EHF Competitions Committee Indoor met in Minsk, Belarus, last weekend (11 May) for its 2019 annual meeting.
First of all the Committee wants to thank the Belarus Hockey Federation for hosting this meeting.
During the meeting the Committee received updates regarding EHF and FIH matters and was updated on the Indoor Senior Championships events due to take place in January 2020. Pools of these events will be published before the end of June.
Some regulations changes were discussed and more information on these matters will be published in due course. The Event Manual will also be updated in the next few months.
The 2020 Indoor Junior Championships and Indoor Club Championships were evaluated and it was noted that the events were hosted well. The Committee wants to express their gratitude to all the Junior hosts in Austria, Portugal, Poland and Croatia and to all the Club hosts in Austria, Croatia, Norway, Bulgaria, Germany, France and Serbia!
The Committee considered all entries and Applications to Host the 2021 Indoor Junior Championship events and has made recommendations on hosting these events to the EHF Executive Board. In the June Board Meeting the hosts will be decided and the outcome will be published shortly after.
And last but not least, the Committee considered all entries and Applications to Host the 2020 Indoor Club Championship events and made decisions on the hosts. The hosts will be announced Wednesday 15 May at 16.00h CET on www.eurohockey.org.
