Ukraine and Czech Republic lead their pools after Day 1 in Alanya

On the first day of EuroHockey Junior Championship II, Women started with a game between Scotland and Wales. Both teams showed good performances and worked hard to gain a goal. But the match ended in a draw with no goals.

The second match played between the Czech Republic and Austria. In the first period, Austria scored with a Fiona Felber but on the second period, the Czech Republic controlled the game with good positions and with two goals of Nikole Babicka they won the game and match finished by 2-1.

Third match was between Italy and Ukraine. The first goal came with the Karyna Leonova from Ukraine in the 12th minute. And with the goal of  Valentina  Sarmiento Italy catch the draw with 1-1 on 26th minutes. However

Anastasiia Voievoda from Ukraine not allowed Italy to win and scored on 48th minutes and made the scored 2-1.

The last match of the first day played between Poland and Turkey. They both showed good performance. There were no goals until the last period. Both teams did not give up but host teamTurkey scored their first goal on 50th minutes with Pınar Yılmaz and made the result 1-0.
