Day 2 Round-up EuroHockey Junior Championship II, Litice

The second day of the EuroHockey Junior Championships II got underway yesterday with Pool B on display:
Match 5: Portugal vs Italy 0:6
The dominant team of this game was the Italian team.  Three goals from penalty corners were shot by Francois Sior and two goals by Manuel Mondo. Portugal shot only one time but without success.

Match 6: Russia vs Scotland 2:5

The second match of pool A was between Russia and Scotland. This match was for a long time very
equal. During the first period both teams had many chances but without success. After the first 15
minutes the score was 0:0. The first field goal of the match was scored by Scotland player no. 14 –
Cameron Golden in 21. minute. Next part of the game was without a goal, both teams were pushing but no
one scored. After the half time break, we saw the second goal of the game. The scorer was again Golden for Scotland In the third period, players of Russia started with pressure and they scored after a penalty
corner. The last period started with score 2:1 and with a chance for the Russian team to equalize this match. This chance was lost after a few really fast goals by Scotland in the last 8 minutes. The final score of
this match is 5:2 for Scotland.
