Day 4 – EuroHockey Junior Championship, Alanya

Match 9: Scotland v Austria 1-0 

The first match of the day was between Scotland and Austria. Both teams were active and the passion was easy to see to win the game on each player. The game was exciting. Scotland took the first chance in the 8th minute via SABATELLI. Austria tried hard to score but Scotland did not give any chances. The match ended with a 1-0 win of Scotland.

Match 10: Wales v Czech Republic 3-0 

The second match was between Wales and the Czech Republic. In the first period, Wales scored 3 goals with THOMAS and BUTLER . In spite of the good attacks from the  Czech Republic match finished by 3-0 with a victory to Wales.

Match 11: Ukraine v Poland 7-4 

The third match played was between Ukraine and Poland. Ukraine scored the first goal with ZAITSEVA in the  3rd minute with a Penalty Corner. After the first goal, Ukraine continued good attacks and have the second VOIEVODA scored her second in the 13th minute. After this goal, the Czech republic started to put pressure with their attacks and Ukraine defence could not stop ZIMMERMANN ‘s goal from the Czech team and made the score 1-2 on the 14th minute.
SHALYHINA scored in the 24th minute had a goal and Ukraine made the score by 3-1 at that minute but after 1-minute number 5 SKORASZEWSKA  from Czech team scored and made the score 3-2. On 32th minute VOIEVODA Anastasiia had her second goal but the Czech team did not give up and TATARCZUK socred.  Ukraine continued in its good form and won by 7-4 with the goals.

Match 12: Italy v Turkey (suspended until today at 11 o’clock 

The last match of the day was between Italy and Turkey. The first goal came from Italy with VAN WINKEL in the 10th minute with a penalty corner and second goal from MUSCI  on the 21st minute. In the period of the 2nd quarter on 24th minute due to bad weather conditions, the match has been suspended to 18th at 11 o’clock.
