Day 5, EuroHockey Junior Championships II, Alanya

Match 13: Poland v Austria 4-3

On the 5th day, the tournament started with a Poland and Austria match. The first goal came from Poland team with a number of 2 SĘK Patrycja on the 8th minute and POLEWCZAK Monika (C) followed her on 9th minute with a second goal. On the second period, Austria made its move and gained 1 goal with HEFTER Katharina on the 20th minute. However, Poland maintained its superiority and goal their third and fourth goal with POLEWCZAK Monika (C) and ZIMMERMANN Viktoria. Even Austria tried their best with a 3 goal they lose. And the match finished 4-3 and Poland win the game.

Match 14: Turkey v Czech Republic 8-2 

The second match was between the host team Turkey and the Czech Republic. The first goal came from the Czech Republic on the 2nd minute with HÁJKOVÁ Natálie. And Turkey made the score 1-1 with CENGIZ Kardelen on 3rd minute. However the Turkish team could not be stopped to löse and the Czech Republic has a victory with 8 -2.

Match 15: Ukraine v Scotland 1-4

The next match was between the favourite teams Ukraine and Scotland. The first goal came from Scotland with MACCALLUM Katie on the 13th minute. And on second period Ukraine made the score equal on the 21st minute with SHALYHINA Alevtyna. However, Scotland did not stop attacking and made the score with MACCALLUM Katie on the 30th minute. And finally, on last period with JONES Georgia and WALLS Jennifer Scotland win the match by 4-1 and guaranteed to play Final.

Match 16: Wales v Italy 4-4 (1-2 SO)

Last important match of the day was between Wales and Italy. On the 12th minute, BOWEN Megan had Wales first goal and BUTLER Nell made the score 2-0 on the 17th minute. Italy could not stop the third goal by

THOMAS Delyth from Penalty Corner on 20th. It was very exciting to watch the competition between them. The match finished by 4-4. But İtaly won the game with shoot outs by 4-4 (1-2) and wrote their name to play final.
