An afternoon with the sunshine in Cambrai Hockey Club. It was a beautiful day to spend time on the EuroHockey Championship II in Cambrai. The public and especially residents of Cambrai and regulars of the region Hauts-de-France were there to support the teams.
Pool B was in action today, with Ukraine and Italy looking to get their first points and Russia and Austria battling to be top-ranked in the pool going into the final pool games.
Match 5: Ukraine v Italy (Pool A) 3-5
About the first game, Italy had the advantage of the match since the beginning and finish with the victory 5 goals against 3 for Ukraine.
Match 6: Russia v Austria (Pool A) 2-2
We finish the day with a score of 2 – 2 for Russia vs Austria, a battle which neither team could quite finish to get the full 3 points. Both teams head into the final day on 4 points.
