Match 7: Turkey v Switzerland (Pool A) 0-2

The third day of the tournament saw Turkey and Switzerland playoff in an intense and evenly offensive match. In the first quarter, it seemed that Turkey had more possession of the ball, with their defence holding strong against Switzerland’s advances. In the second quarter, although Switzerland was able to take more shots at goal, Turkey’s defence remained almost impenetrable. In the second half of the game, Switzerland scored their first goal, and another came shortly after with a short corner. Despite the two goals scored by Switzerland, Turkey continued to fight until the very end, gaining many short corners in the last quarter which unfortunately were unsuccessful.  The match ended with a score of 2 – 0 to Switzerland.
